Good book

The narrator did a good job with this book. I enjoyed listening to the story.

So cute!

Daniel and Mac are precious! This was such a unique and cool storyline, and I loved watching these two banter and fall for the other. I loved watching how Allie shows each student’s fun characters, and I didn’t feel like they were just plot keys. They were a huge part of the story and Daniel and Mac falling in love. I was sad about their breakup at the end, but their coming together was so sweet! I loved this! Megan Carver was a great narrator, too!

I would have loved dual PoV

I would have loved to have both points of view for this book. It was lovely! The narrator wasn’t my absolute favorite but she did very well! Definitely recommend!

Hopelessly romantic

This rom com is so sweet and … believable? Like Nora Ephron believable… Like I could go to work and chat with Mac and Jenny. Like I could TBR Daniel’s books. Just delightful.

Swoony Teacher x Writer Romance

A story about an English teacher and a writer trying to find his groove again? Say less. I was hooked from the start! 😍

I fell in love with @alliesambertswrites writing last year—her ability to create characters that feel real, flawed, and so relatable is what keeps me coming back. So when I was gifted the audiobook of The Write Place, I couldn’t wait to dive in. I already owned the whole Leade Park series on Kindle, but listening? A whole new experience. 🫶🏽

This cozy, small-town romance gave me all the warm fuzzies. Mac and Daniel were the perfect complement to each other—steady, sweet, and full of quiet chemistry. And the way the story wove in bookish themes? As a lifelong reader and former teacher, it honestly made me feel seen. 🥹

Mac’s journey as a teacher really tugged at my heart—those moments of impact in the classroom, the exhaustion, the passion, the longing for purpose. It made me miss my teacher years.

And the narration… Megan Carver completely nailed it. Her performance brought Mac’s emotions to life and gave each character their own distinct energy. The pacing was perfect for a morning listen, and it turned my daily commute into something I looked forward to.

I breezed through this audiobook in just a couple of days, completely immersed in the soft love story, the giggles, and all of Daniel’s moments-
