Hilarious and Heartfelt!

I absolutely loved this laugh-out-loud funny love story that also pulled at my heartstrings. Theo is Laney's best friend, Emma's brother, who has been a thorn in her side since they were young. They are total opposites with Laney being a rule follower and people pleaser, and Theo is a fun loving badboy that trouble just seems to find. Now they are in Hawaii for Emma's dream destination wedding, and Emma asks Laney to babysit Theo. Neither Laney or Theo are happy with this arrangement, but both will do anything for Emma. Of course Theo is hard to hold down, and Laney gets caught up in some awkward, and hilarious situations. But the more time they spend together, and learn about each other, the more their true feelings are exposed. They are both prisoners to expectations, and find they are more alike than they always thought. They realize they both have feelings for each other, and the sparks explode between them. But will their new attraction survive the secret Theo is hiding, or will it drive Laney away for good? This hilarious and heartwarming story had me laughing out loud so many times, giggling, swooning, and completely falling in love with both Theo and Laney. They were so perfect together, helping each other discover the strength to break out of other's expectations, and be their true selves, and finding their forever love that they had always dreamed of. This story did start out a bit slow for me, but it quickly captured my heart, to the point that I could not stop listening. I also loved their hilarious and supportive friends, and I can't wait to read their stories as well!
This story was made completely addictive by Kit Swann and Ryan West's amazing narration! They were superb as Laney and Theo as they brought this delightful couple to life. I easily felt all the awkward moments, passion, heartbreak, joy, and love these characters felt. This is my first listen to Kit Swann, and I especially loved her performance, I can't wait to listen to more of her work. Both Swann and Ryan helped to make this hilarious, heartwarming, sweet and steamy story pure perfection! Prepare to laugh, smile and swoon from beginning to end!

I laughed, I cried, I sneezed 😂

I loved this book. It had everything I love, humor, witty banter, steaminess, and good character development. Oh, and kittens! Give it a listen!

Fantastic with kittens, surprises, fun

This is one of the best books I have listened to in a long time. It is funny, of course, but it has so much emotion and heart and surprises that had me enthralled the entire listen.

When Laney Kingston, pretty good girl, arrives for her best friend's destination wedding, she has no idea how her assignment will change her life in so many wonderful ways. She has been assigned to babysit Theo Monroe, Emma's brother that doesn't go looking for trouble but trouble seems to find him. To save Emma's wedding Laney will keep an eye on Theo and make sure everything is perfect. She had no idea what would happen during this week but she can never go back to her former life and she doesn't want to.

Theo has so many secrets and he is afraid of what will happen if Laney finds out his biggest one of all. He wants his sister's wedding to be all she wants it to be and he will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Kit Swann, and Ryan West were the absolute best. They are my new favorite narrators. I hope to listen to more books they are part of.

This book is beyond 5 stars for me. I loved it and highly recommend it.

Hilarious!

This Romantic Comedy is so Good!!! This audiobook is very pleasant to listen to. The story is hilarious, sweet, sexy, and heartwarming. The characters are great. This is a great opposites attract, and enemies-to-lovers romance. Kit Swann and Ryan West did an outstanding job with the narration. The audio quality is perfect. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it.

Meh casting

Why does the main male character have to sound like an old cowboy? The audio quality and casting did not work for me. DNF

unrealistic storyline

cringy characters and story lines. boring. Actors voices were annoying and I fast forwarded to the end

Didn’t finish…frat boy heavy and vulgar. Stopped 20 minutes in. You can tell a story without all of that.

Enemies to Lovers Hilariousness!!

Pippa Grant is back with a new laugh out loud rom com! We have Pippa’s classic over the top quirky plus a spicy enemies to lovers, forced proximity, best friend’s brother, what a delicious recipe making a book I just devoured! So many shenanigans ensued and I was kept on my toes because I never what Pippa would throw at me next! Oh how I loved Theo and Delaney! They both had hidden sides to them but they shared with each other and it was so sweet.
My abs are burning from the laughs! Kit Swann and Ryan West were fantastic and such a delight on the audio!

So so so amazing.

Pippa!!!! What a nice ray of sunshine. I think Theo and Laney are my second favorite couple ever. Only second to Scarlet and Billy Winston!! Can’t wait for next in this series.

• Thoughts:

I liked this boom, it was funny. I did get bored with it, though. I did get annoyed with a few of the side characters. Emma included (Theo's sister) but I also understood her. Weird combination, I know.
Umm, I didn't really like that Emma was so blinded, and even her dad was to Theo. That really broke my heart. O felt bad for the way Laney had to live her life as well. But I loved how Theo and Laney saw into each other and understood one another. I loved that! Loved it! I love Pippa's books, but this one was just okay. I know this is going to be a series, so a lot of questions will be answered. I just don't want to wait.
I feel like she needs to write about Sabrina, Emma, and the triplets. But we shall see. This is kind of a vague review. Like I said I liked it, but wasn't in love with it. Glad I read it. Well, I listened to it. But still. It was an okay read.

I loved the narrators!! They were amazing!! Kit Swann was hilarious!!! I love her! Ryan West was also fantastic!

Really enjoyable, with the most hilarious wedding scene

This is a fabulous audiobook. I was hooked from the start, hilarious, moving, unexpected plot twists and it’s got kittens! It’s beautifully read and I guarantee it will make you feel good. You’ll also want kittens.

Gotta Love Pippa

Pippa is definitely different lol. I compare all romcom to Pippa. It’s either “Happy Cat Pippa” or “Regular Pippa” this is closer to “Happy Cat” I enjoyed this book but you definitely have to be in the right mood for Happy Cat Pippa. This book is the first in the series and you are introduced to a lot of characters. I listened to it twice to make sure I understood everything and everyone. I enjoyed getting to know all the characters and I am ready for book two. The narration was great! Sometimes the female trying to do a sexy seductive male voice was a little dark but other than that I think the narration was fabulous.

And don’t forget

The amazing performances of the narrators. Totally nailed it. Thank you both for bringing the story to so much life

Wonderfull start to a new serie

I loved it. The beginning start a little bit cheesy with the babysitter stuff. But the leads got terrific chemistery. Support cast are wonderfull with the exception of one person but that is his role.

Chapter 35 is epic and so is the bonus epilogue.
The epilogue is written as a prelude to part 2 since there is no time jump. This is not a problem because I am certain we will get glimpses of what happened to Theo and Lainy.

Both narrarators are fantastic.

Looking forward to the rest of the serie.

Love Theo & Laney!!

Absolutely loved this book, and all of the wonderful new characters, but most especially Theo & Laney.

Really hope that Pippa turns this into a new series. Would love to hear more of Emma, Sabrina, Claire and the Triplets!!

Wonderful writing and excellent narration from both narrators. This is definitely one that I will listen to several times over. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
