How can we create a just, healthy, and humane world? What is the path to developing sustainable energy, food, transportation, production, construction, and other systems? What's the best strategy to end poverty and ensure that everyone has equal rights? How can we slow the rate of extinction and restore ecosystems? How can we learn to resolve conflicts without violence and treat other people and nonhuman animals with respect and compassion? Excellent information for future classrooms

This made me want to teach again!! So much of what I did and more of what I would love to teach!! This book should be required ... listening 🤭

Life Changing

I listened to this book because I was thinking about taking a Humane Education class. I enjoy it so much that I not only took the class, but also changed my own education trajectory.

Good concept, but boring.

I thought the book was very monotonous. I pushed myself to read only a few chapters and then jumped ship.
