If you’ve read the books…
It’s the same stories you’ve heard but with a little personal background. I was a bit disappointed to hear the same stories I’ve already heard Ralph narrate.

If you love James Herriot's books...
you will enjoy the additional insights about real-life counterparts. It's a charming book, and the narration is just fantastic.

A beautiful compilation
If you, like me, think you’ve read all the books in this series, but you worry you may have missed one, this book is for you.
It is a lovely summary of the books and the lives of the Herriot family. I thoroughly enjoyed reviewing the stories and learning new facts that tie them all together,
