Love Miriam’s voice and thoroughly enjoyed listening to her stories. She’s so honest, brutal at times, but to paraphrase her there’s so much BS in the world it’s preferable to say how things really are. As long as you’re not hurting anyone’s feelings (who don’t deserve to be hurt!)
I think so much is added to this book by listening to Miriam read it to you. I wouldn’t have laughed out loud as much and smiled to myself as much, had I read it myself.

Delightful, as always

Audible, this is ridiculous!!! I just wanted to rate this book and not write a review. Having to write reviews in order to rate has prevented me from rating at all. I just want to give props to enjoyable reads . I will just copy and paste this "review" going forward.

oh Miriam... what fun!

Miriam is a delightful storyteller. I could (and did) listen to her for hours! Honest and funny.

The Funniest Woman Alive!

I've enjoyed Miriam's appearances on Graham Norton, so had to buy this book. Over the course of the book, you get to know her: her experiences with acting, celebrities she likes and dislikes, her family and family history, her day to day life, and all sorts of random thoughts she has. Miriam's book is full of laughs, some of the stories will be familiar to those who have seen her talk show appearances. I only gave four stars because I do not share some of Miriam's political views, and she spends a great deal of time discussing them. That said, she seems like a lovely and humble soul, an absolute delight of a woman. I hope she will be around making us laugh for years to come.
