Amazing book, stories of players and their perceptions of others. Basketball fundamentals by the GOAT Kobe Bryant. Love the book.

It made me feel closer to Kobe as I struggle to resolve his sudden death. It's much more than a kid story. It's a guide to self-exploration, perseverance, friendships, excellent, and life. Brilliant!!! ❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽

Simply Beautiful

I bought this book in memory of my favorite athlete of All time the late Black Mamba himself Kobe Bean Bryant, but little did I know I would absolutely fall in love with this amazing journey of a magical coach and a group of amazing young kids. As a young adult this book took me back to my childhood and also made me reflect on all of things both in my childhood and now as a young man. I totally recommend this book to young people and old. 5 stars !

Must for Athletes

This is a must for athletes for struggle with transferring their skills from sport to other areas of life. Love Phylicia Rashad but perhaps a different narrator would work better. One that could bring the teenage characters more to life.

loved every second, a great story with just as good narration. made me think of Kobe lots of times.

Great book for Youths

I wish I could have this book when I was young. I grew from a selfish 'blackhole' player, to now a team-orientated players over the years by learning different people play, a player who didn't know how to do floaters and jump hooks, to now a player who can do those with either hand.

This book offers great messages/advice for those who lack of these mindsets (which was me 15 years ago). I see this as a very valuable asset for kids nowadays, and I wish Kobe could have continued sharing his knowledge to us.

Yes!!

Perfect combination of fantasy and magic fused with humanity, sports and teamwork. The audiobook was also narrated very craftfully and held me at the edge of my seat, chapter after chapter.

Loved the concept! Loved the action and adventure! Loved the competition! Kids and adults of all ages will love this book!

The Wizenard Series

I was intrigued by this series, based on who created it and the reason why, so I decided to check it out.

I enjoyed book 1 thoroughly. Phylicia Rashad, Who is one of my favorites, was AMAZING!! Her reading gave the book life. I felt like I was right there with the characters going through the day to day.

The way the story was written was a little confusing to me at first. Since this is audio, I thought I had hit rewind and was re-listening to a certain part at first. Then I realized that they were covering each character’s point of view. It sometimes got a little repetitive but all in all it was fun.
I love the character development and the attention given to each character in the story. Even though it came off like one character was intended to be the lead, my thoughts quickly changed as I realized an equal amount of time was given to everyone, which was really great!

I definitely recommend the book and look forward to the next one. Also the way this book was written, it’s clearly primed for it to be a movie series.
