Frigging Awesome
loved it start to finish. This first entry had great pacing and a good intro into a new world with plausible character behaviors. Great narration and can't wait to listen to the next in the series.

Great story!
This is an in depth whole new world. I love learning about the different guilds people can be a part of. You have your three primary characters you follow on a very long journey. I enjoyed watching them grow as different events forced them to adapt. I'm not too sure what the next book will be about, but would definitely be willing to check it out.

slow start but second half hooked me in
An enjoyable story that has been well thought out and planned. A good amount of world building and political set up without shoving it down your throat.
While the romance arc was predictable, it was satisfying and lovely. Sex scenes are nicely fade to black, so no over the top stuff. On the same note, no idea what the other review is on about with 'slutty behaviour'. Relationships took time to form and they felt organic.
At first, it felt that the narrator was too cheery the whole time, sounding happy while reading sad scenes, but over the course of the book, they came into changing tone to the mood.
I look forward to seeing where this series goes!

the main character has every power in the book. but that doesn't satisfy her desire to screw every single male she gets her hands on. her slut behavior is kinda nasty.
