Great story

This was my first book by Sean and I thought it was really good. Great cast of characters, chemistry, storyline and wonderfully told. pnr, adventure, fantasy, drama and so enjoyable.

Good story

Very entertaining, and has a good story. The characters were interesting and likable. Narration was of great quality.

betrayal... magical

oh the betrayal. you die and find out you have magic. almost killed for a 2nd time only to find out you were betrayed the first time. so much action. narrative able to keep your attention

captivating

Fom the very beginning I was completely enthralled and couldn't stop listening. So many twists and turns. I loved finding out more and more information and unraveling some of the mysteries only for more to be presented! I really enjoyed the different types of supernaturals and the internal conflicts. I can't wait to read the rest!

excellent story!

This was a new spin and it was a great intro intro this world. The author develops characters you can buy into and the narrator did a great job bringing them to life. can't wait for book 2. Highly recommend!

Great read and listen

Adventure and magical, great story line, definitely couldn't put it down. Great to the imagination.

Fresh take on Magic

The story unfolds well, the author did a fantastic job establishing the world of mythical and supernatural beings, and how they all interact within the world established. The chemistry of the characters is great. The narration is well done, I found myself looking forward to listening to each chapter. Can’t wait to see how the continuation of this story unfolds.

Betrayal

What happens when everywhere you turn people are set to betray you. Find out how the first action leads to a series of betrayals you wouldn’t expect.

Well developed characters and plot. Looking forward to the next book in the series to see where it takes the main characters.

I really wanted to love this story

Maybe it's because it's the first book and a lot is going on. I really wanted to love this story but it felt like a drag to finish this book. The narrator did such a great performance on all the characters but the story was too much going on. I liked the beginning of this book and the surprise at the end. I'm glad I did follow it through to the end. It ends at a cliffhanger and I don't know if I want to continue on to see what happens next and give it a chance. Maybe I just don't like the main character?
