I didn’t expect to like it but it’s really good. Worth a credit
I hesitated using that precious credit on a novella but I’m glad I did . Half way through I used another credit for the next book. The spice is about 3-4 chili peppers out of 5. I’m hoping with more time the characters will become more complex. I don’t like FMC who are weak and need rescuing and the FMC in this is far from a weakling. She’s actually stronger than the MMC. Some might pause on a particular power discrepancy but I love me an alpha male with “ MINE ! Mine ! Mine !” energy. I have a stressful job and I like light stories with happy endings . This fits the bill. I hope the rest of the series holds my interest the way this one did. Narration was pretty good but nothing super special . Accents were good too.

Very good. Wish it were longer.
I loved the book, there was a lot of mythology to digest but after you start to understand the logistics of it all it's not that complicated. I loved that the female protagonist saved the male for once and how she wanted someone who could best her. There's nothing better than a strong female lead that still likes a guy that's tough in the bedroom! The sexy scenes we're top notch, and I want to be mad about the length because it was so short, but it works for this book. If it were much longer it likely would have just been a lot of filler that was unnecessary. So I can't in good conscience say it's too short, because it's actually the perfect length for this particular story.
