It was a great story! I loved it! Mariketa and Bowen are meant to be!!

Bowen wanted Mariketa from the minute he got a good look at her...but of course he had to deny it...he carried centuries of guilt, that were really not necessary..and Mariketa was waiting to come into her own...they had a tortured romance, that seems to be the Lykae way...and after almost losing each other a few times, they finally got it together...and got their HEA!! Great Story!!!

IAD Series Is Phenomenal

I absolutely can not get enough of all of the characters and this imaginative world that Kresley Cole has created. Wicked Deeds On A Winters Night is the 4th book in this series. It is action packed and full of everything!! Humor, danger, tortured heroes, romance through impossible odds! Edge of your seat page turner and leaves you wanting more!

Wickedly Funny and Fun

Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night is a terrific little read as a part of the Immortals After Dark series. If I could give half stars, it would get 4.5 overall. Kresley Cole just absolutely rocks with a fun, albeit predictable, story. However, this particular book really brought out her ability to write dialogue that was hysterically funny. The interactions between Mari and her coven buddies was wonderful and I laughed EVERY time I head Nicks (the oldest Valkyrie) called Nucking-Futs Nicks. Mari had some great one liners herself, so it was a laugh fest for a great deal of the book. Even MacRieve had some pretty funny dialogue/one-liners himself. So, while the story was indeed one about passion, intrigue, finding one's mate, sensuality and enchantments, it's the unending amount of creativity that pours from Ms Cole's mind that is the ultimate charm.

Now, about Mr. Petkoff''s narration...so far, I have found no one better. Initially, his female voices just didn't ring true, but in this book, Mari, Nicks, and the rest of the female characters were spot on. He gave Mari just enough spunk, sarcasm and vulnerability to make her believable. As for his MacRieve, spot on. I am looking forward to the entire series...in fact, I've already started Dark Deeds at Night's Edge.

BEST BOOK IN THE SERIES!!!

Where does Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

as far as Immortals After Dark series goes (i've read 1-5) this is by far the BEST book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

fucking Mariketta! she isn't like some of the heroines played out here, she is a great balance of badassness and also a good person overall, also a naughty one at that. she is a ultimate bounty for Bowen since he had gone through so much.

What about Robert Petkoff’s performance did you like?

this man IS the book. he is what ALL narrators should be. i'm a little spoiled now b/c i can't listen to other books without his voice. he does an incredible scottish accent that i smitten over.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

ummm yeah! and also have relistened to over and over again!

Kresley Cole does it again. I love all the IAD, I own the paperback, digital copy and now the audio version and Robert Petkoff does it again. wonderful story, characters and narration.

I bought Wicked Deeds on a Winters Night on Audible during a sale. I had already read this book and LOVED it. Figured I loved it enough to buy it in another format. So I definitely love the story. BUT Robert Petkoff IS AMAZING!! He totally takes the story to another level with his accents and reading. Wonderful and highly recommended.

I enjoyed the book but it was not a 5 for me. There are a lot of characters and at times I had trouble remembering who was who. The story had the 2 characters build up to a physical relationship. (I hate when they jump in bed immediately and claim to be in "love.") I wish there was more palpable chemistry between the main characters though. I love it when I simply can't stop listening because the anticipation of the main characters getting together is so strong. This was shy of the mark

I wish he would do the reading for all my favorite books, by far the best narrator I have listened to!!

Can clearly tell all the different character's with his vocal performance!! When he is reading it makes you feel like your more apart of the story because your not caught up in all the characters sounding the same.
