Publisher's Summary

Lucas Daniels knows that witches and vampires are real.

Lucas has discovered that witch blood flows through his veins and he can perform magic, but it is hardly within his control. And the more he delves into his gifts, the more dangerous they appear.

Count Konstantin "the Wolf" Volk must keep Lucas’ parentage a secret from the Nomad while searching for a way to free himself and Lucas from Gaia’s plot. But how can he succeed when the Nomad sees and hears all?

Note: This novella series has cliffhangers! Every book will end on one. That's my natural writing style. If you do not like cliffhangers, wait until the whole series is published to listen. Thanks for the support!

X. Aratare writes gay paranormal romance with witches, vampires, magic, and mystery. Though some books may venture into dark territory, they will all have happy endings.

Different Narrator

My pet peeve is changing a narrator during a series and this is the perfect example. Purchase if you don’t mind different accented voice with different pronunciations. I barely got through chapter one after I skipped the recap of the previous five books. I’m so glad I read the book first.

Liked it, but did not love it

The new narrator took some getting used to. I liked the last two audiobooks, it's good enough to finish the series, but nothing to get excited about.

Story: great New Narrator: no

love this story and really like the narrator for the first 5 books but I dont care for this new one. He even pronounces things completely different!!!! Still going to purchase the 7th book so I can know how it ends but very disappointed with the change.

Narrators

Ethan Holton should have been the only narrator. The new narrator didn't keep the same voices.

Whyyyyy change Narrators!?

While I still greatly enjoy the story itself, it was such a disappointment to have to adjust to this new narrator. He couldn’t do the accents and distinct voices as well as Ethan and the pronunciations of already established words and names changed for the worse. I loved Konstantine’s deliciously sexy Russian accent and voice in books 1-5 and that has been taken from me 😭

Great story - please go back to the other narrator

Over all the story is on par with the previous books - kudos to the author. However - I didn't like this narrator. His lack of good accents/voicing and his pronunciation of certain key things really took the level down a ways. I'd recommend that the narrator listen to at least parts of the previous story if they are going to take over part way through a series. For example, the club name - one of the KEY FACTORS considering its the Vampires CLUB - the narrator didn't pronounce it correctly or even close to what the previous narrator did. Diavol - like DYE - a - Vol, he wasn't even close. Also example, his narrative voice was often the same for Lizzy, Gaia, and too close to Lucas at times to easily differentiate. Bring back Ethan Holtan..

love this series

I absolutely love this series but I hate that the narrator was changed! it just doesnt work, the way he pronounces things are too different, the voices for the character no longer suit them
