I liked this story but didn't love it. It was just too unnecessarily long. Derek and Frankie were hot together and their chemistry was explosive but the drama was too drawn out and the finale anticlimactic.

I love Marni Mann style of writing and have read and reviewed many of her other books .

Where does The Unblocked Collection rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was probably one of my favorite audiobooks to date. It had a bit of everything - hot sex, falling in love, a dash of drama and a HEA. The narrators were both amazing. I'm a huge fan of Joe Arden, and Molly Glenmore was new for me, but just a spot on Frankie.

What did you like best about this story?

Besides all of the steamy sex, I just love the idea of two confident people coming together, learning effective communication. While there was some drama, some angst, it never stayed for long and they came out of it stronger.

What does Joe Arden and Molly Glenmore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They were amazing. Joe Arden has a sexy, husky voice and Molly was a bright, smooth narrator. I wish it were another couple of hours, and it's honestly one of the longest audiobooks I've gotten to date.

Any additional comments?

Again, just amazing. Equal POVs (rotating chapters), and damn fine narration. Like I mentioned, there's some drama, but it didn't drag on - they communicated, resolved it, and moved on. I love the idea that there was also no job disparity (like 1 being super wealthy, 1 poor) - it put them on pretty equal footing and that felt so much more realistic. It's definitely erotica, so expect lots of sex, and Joe Arden's voice delivers. I felt satisfied by the end, and would definitely give it another listen!

Not sure how I feel about this one

I like a well written sex scene as much as the next junkie but (can’t believe I’m saying this ), there is such thing as too much of a good thing. If you take those scenes out of this book you are looking at maybe 2 hours worth of story. The heroin was a bit of a wino and I think her friend was a little over the top. That being said, it was well written, intriguing, and the narration was outstanding ! I didn’t feel, even with the length, that it was a waste of time, but I was glad to get to the end. All questions answered, no cliffhangers and a hea. This is a solid read.

A delicious read.
I loved the story from beginning to end.
The characters were so consuming and three dimensional.
Not one chapter was redundant or boring.

The narrator's were spectacular.
They have the characters true deprh.

That Spicy Fucking Mouth!

After reading the description I wasn't sure I was going to like the book I'm definitely not sorry. It's great. I love the dual narrator's.

BEST STORYLINE!!!

Not only is this story so incredibly touching (one part I actually cried!), there are several laugh out loud parts, and dark humor underlies. Super steamy, sexy, and so interesting! I never do these reviews, but I wanted to share what a great series!!!
