Publisher's summary

I've fallen in love with Cato, and I'm not afraid to say it.

He doesn't need to say it back. I know how he feels.

Even if he doesn't have the balls to admit it.

Our daughter will be here soon, and our lives will change forever.

Will Cato let go of the past? Let go of the promise he made to execute me?

Or should I have never come back?

I don’t care…

what anyone else thinks. I loved this series. Books are meant to be irrational and unrealistic in many cases. If they were like real life, that would be boring. To me, this trilogy was wonderful. I hope you enjoy it too.

Cato & Siena

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Audible review. Dual POV. The Banker trilogy book 3. Narrated in an average American accent; Michael briefly adapts an Italian accent. The Skull Kings and Crow both appear. Trigger warnings: human trafficking; shooting; murders

Siena awakens in pain, Cato rushes her to the hospital worried about the baby, everything was fine, they celebrate Christmas. Siena has their baby, Cato takes care of their baby for a week to allow Siena time to recover, Cato took Siena outside to punish her by pretending he was going to kill her, Bates shot her in the head, Cato took Siena to the hospital, she recovered and went home. After the shooting she kept herself away from Cato until he asked for her forgiveness. Siena asked that Bates never hold Martina again, Cato tells Bates then adds that he'll exact his revenge on Bates' future love. Damien took Cato, Bates gathered their men, Siena demanded that she be swapped for Cato, Bates apologized, Siena forgave him, Siena went in, they took her to Damien & a very beaten Cato, Cato was sent out, Siena killed Damien and escaped. Cato was flown to the hospital to recover then went home, Bates and Cato gave Micah the option of how he wanted to die, Cato executed Micah, Siena allowed Bates to hold Martina. Cato proposes, Siena gives him an ultimatum (she'll only marry him if he quits banking), Siena left him, Bates visits Siena then Cato, Siena's pregnant for baby #2, Crow randomly called Siena, Siena asked Crow to talk to Cato, Cato goes to Siena and tells her he's giving up the business, she agrees to marry him. Cato sells his half of the business to Bates, Siena gives her former home and car to Landon, and Siena & Cato marry. JP

Romantic

Ending was too cheesy, expecting more excitement and not a give in to female demands.

Awesome series with one slight issue

This book is a phenomenal ending to the series with one caveat. Getting the HEA ending is what we all want, but the way it was done was extremely infuriating to me. without spoiling the ending the ask was way too much and anyone who reads and follows this whole trilogy would have to agree that it was too much and truly unrealistic. Compromise is a two-way street, where was her compromise and if true love is to be believed this would have ended differently, overall great story with awesome narration.

Great ending

Nice suspense in this last installment. My only negative is that the epilogue needed to be longer to give just a little more info about the couple and their family. It would be nice if Cato's brother Bates got a book with his story. What would be really interesting is if Cato keeps his promise to hurt his woman like Bates did to Siena. Throughout the series, the narrators were excellent.

So good!

So very good! I still say it reminds me of buttons and lace. I did like that Crow came to talk to him.
