The author has talent, but he does not know how to use it. Book 2 reads like a social justice manifesto in a science fiction wrapper. I wish the editor had deleted the non-stop social justice preaching out of the book, it was just to much.

I can't help but compare it to the Destiny's Crucible series by Olan Thorensen. Ky is definitely the better main character. Hopefully he won't turn polygamous.

Gripping
What a gripping tale. I was amazed at the drama and the author’s efforts to describe large scale battle. I wish more time had been spent on the battle formations since it all went too quick.

Again I say wow. this series is really bloody good. I'm now two books down in two days and heading for book three.

Aliens ripped a hole above Earth, arriving with a massive space station. I sorta figured we'd be enslaved to fight in their wars or exterminated for our resources. Nope. The hip-high Iglax were merchants with ugly squished faces and thick blue fur. While they weren't much to look at, they sure did have some wonderous technology.
