it's a toss up.

This might be my favorite book in this series yet. it's a toss up between this one and the Redemption. Still love how you tie all the characters and books together.

Excellent Narration, Light Story

While I love every book in this series, and will eagerly anticipate many more, it must be said that this book is the lightweight of the series, most likely written quickly without as much forethought as the others. Still I gave it 5 stars because I love how Inmon writes and I am always entertained. However, take your time, Shawn, and add more depth and dimension to the next one. We can wait.

Another Great One

After the initial book, I became less enthralled with them until this, and the subsequent Ebook. Awesome. And it raises some interesting questions. Like just because someone did something bad once, doesn’t mean they will do it again and again…??

Narrator almost killed it for me.

An excellent story with a thought-provoking premise. Can everything eventually be worked out? Maybe, maybe not. You will have to figure that out as you read or listen to the story.

However— the narrator is a bad fit for this story, especially when speaking for our protagonist. It’s just me probably, but the narrator’s voice, intonation, and tone gives the reader the distinct impression that Ned’s intellectual capacity is that of a child throughout the entire book. Actually, it’s worse than that, like a spaced-out Holy Fool.

However, if you pick up the book and read the content. Ned is anything but a Holy Fool.

Had to overall the rating for personal preference on this title. Enjoyed the story and performance but just irratating on some of the resolution in the story. Author notes helped on some of the explanations but arrrrrggggg.

Another great book in the series

This was one of my favorite books in the series. Very enjoyable.
Can't wait for the next one.

Another great book in the middle falls series

You could read this one without having read the others. Its very much a stand alone story. Some of the others are linked to earlier stories and you would be missing information. There is a character that you might not understand not having read the others but overall you can read this first if you want. The best course of action though is always to start at the beginning. I really enjoyed this book and well worth the read.

Another winner

Another winner in the middle falls series. You won’t be disappointed! Story and reader were awesome!

This book is maddening in a good way.

When I find myself yelling out loud at the main character of an audiobook, I know the writer has gotten under my skin. I couldn’t figure out the mystery the whole way through, but, when I gave my husband an exasperated synopsis of the story about half way thru, he told me immediately who the perpetrator was. Some people are just good at that. This book kept me intrigued.

Another great story

I tried listening to this over a year ago and couldn't get over how grating the narrator's unnatural cadence was with upward inflections preceding every pause. I quit under 30 minutes in. I've since run out of new listen ideas and gave it another shot. I'm glad I did. I didn't find the narrator nearly as intolerable this time. He actually does dialog and introspection pretty well, it's just the bits in between where it's grating.

The story itself was, as the headline says, another great tale of a Middle Falls time traveler. Anyone who has got this far is obviously already hooked so my only advice is give the narrator a chance; the story is worth it and he doesn't do as awful as it seems at first.
