Great story and narration
I rarely review a book. I enjoyed this book, which is surprising because it's such a terrible story about a very rough childhood. Somehow the author and narrator told it in a way that wasn't depressing. Having had a terrible father myself and succeeding in life despite that, I have great admiration for Mr. Crow. This is a great story about fighting to have the life you deserve.

Wow What a story
I can't even imagine growing up like this. Thank you David, for sharing your life story. It was incredibly interesting and tragic at the same time. I'm so glad that David still has a relationship with his poor mother. It's amazing that all the kids grew up okay with such a crazy father. Really good book.

Could Not Put Down
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure at first, but as the title went on and the writers style began to hit home, I was interested in this so much so that I didn’t want to put it down. I would force myself to stop because I was tired and I did not want to miss any of the important details. The author was intriguing and had my attention the whole time.
