Kept alive and imprisoned for 10 thousand years, Luther is the curse and the salvation of the Dark Angels made manifest. None are so close to the heart and history of the Chapter as the man that embodies all that was great about the First Legion and all that is shameful about the Dark Angels. In his story is writ the tale of the Horus Heresy and the fall from Enlightenment in a single long life. Glory, honour, pride, shame and betrayal weave a tapestry of truth and lies that the Supreme Grand Masters of the Dark Angels have sought to understand and unbind across 10 bloody millennia.

Amazing book, badly combined
Is there anything you would change about this book?
After each chapter the audio plays music, introduces the next chapter and lists everyone involved. Though I understand why this was done, it still prevents you from being completely engrossed in the story
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
The voice actors were incredible and exactly how I'd imagine a Space Marine talking

A Warhammer audiobook.. with a twist
A stage-play format, this marks a new for of Warhammer audiobook.
Packed with twists, reveals and great voice acting. a little difficult to follow all is the characters at first, you nevertheless quickly get the hang of it, and then you can enjoy the hapless, the heroes and the villains in risk measure. Evocative sound effects round or a first-rate production. Highly recommended!

Amazing as it is, so much wasted with the start/end chapter music, lazy production team. The performance is top notch. I know this is a series with chapter, but the music at the end/beginning is really killing the flow of the tale. and it is a tale worth listening to.

What is going on??
I have no idea what's going on. A terrible adaptation, and not worth your money/credit. Every chapter comes with an extended musical intro that's the same each time, WITH a list of the authors. Every chapter. For almost a minute each time. Spoiler alert: they're the same people!! Why?? Voice acting is good. Story is ok. Audio effects are sub par at best. You can't tell the story of an action driven novel by playing gunfire noises in the background for 15 seconds of dialogue and expect people to know what's going on! All I got was this was the feeling that I was missing out on action descriptions, and important subtext. This cheapened the whole experience. A poor effort.
