London, 1884: A series of bomb blasts in public places is causing mayhem throughout the city. Even Scotland Yard’s CID office becomes a target, throwing suspicion on Constable Thackeray. So much better than the first book. The plot thickened gradually until about three quarters of the way, when it yanked up to high quickly. The end was great. Loved the narrator.
