Sound and performance of the narrator are crisp and clean, you'll easily hear the different characters in the nuances of the change of tone in his voice.

The performance was outstanding. Every character was given distinct voices, tones, and cadences making the stories even more engaging. I will seek out more from this performer.

Needs an Index

This is a fantastic comprehensive collection. My only qualm is that there is no way to locate a particular story from among the 70 hours of material. There is no index anywhere to be found. In a collection of this magnitude there really ought to be one.

Masterfully Read

Having never availed myself of any of the Holmes compendium, I leapt at the opportunity and began listening. In amazement did I observe the consistency of the voices and accents (for the most part) of the characters in each story. Even those re-occurring at different parts maintained their voices throughout. Though the volume spanned over 65 hours, I was never bored and am now downcast at its conclusion. I can only say thank you, Audible for making this volume available. Please excuse the language as I have recently completed my sojourn in the land of Holmes and Watson.

Excellent, My Dear Watson!!

Sir Author Conan Doyle already had an excellently written treasure trove of the likes of the brilliant characters of Sherlock and Watson, to which this dear, extremely talented narrator did the PERFECT justice. It was sheer pleasure listening to all accounts, with such great distinction of character voices. Well done sir!

I listened to the preview of the recently advertised series narrated by another, which did not grab my fancy. I HIGHLY recommend that you get this one instead.
