Every sentence is deep wisdom. Perhaps one of the most important points is to recognize that the prophets mature in their understanding of themselves, their relationship to God, and God. Let us realize that reformation is a continual process, not a historical event or an objective. The life of the Spirit is sacred potentiality. Blessed are we to have a prophet like Rohr to tell a prophet’s humble story.

Great Truths for Our World

Richard Rohr is an amazing theologian, able to understand and communicate truths many of us miss. The only weakness I find in the audio book is that I needed the writing and work of a seasoned theologian to be performed by a more seasoned voice. The performer has a great voice, but it is a young voice and not representative of Richard Rohr. I also found the performer’s voice to be too slow and I lost interest within 15 minutes. I adjusted my speed to 1.2 and found the slightly faster delivery to be much more engaging.

Remarkable

Thought provoking which still the spirit. Richard Rohr is a modern day prophet. Highly recommend especially given what we face today in an age where the Beatitudes and love if God, love our neighbors as well as our enemies should be praised vs. demonized.
