I’m in love 🥰

Omg! Beck is really giving Josh a run for his money as favorite guy written by Elizabeth. Omg this book had my heart in a vice and what I would give to be able to read this book for the first time again. Beck and Kate are too precious to me and there are not enough words to encapsulate the perfection that is them. Kate, coming back from her most recent stint in rehab to win back her husband only to see how things have changed since she was gone. And Beck, helping her out while she was trying to win her husband back. It was angsty and stressful seeing what they both go through to get to their happy ending but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Life isn’t always straightforward and happy, Kate is very well versed in this and the pain she’d endured and overcome makes me so happy for her. She may have came back for the wrong reasons but she found her way. I loved every minute of this book and can’t wait for the next one!

Another really good book

Another really good book in this series. I haven’t listened to a lot of Elizabeth’s audiobooks. I’m a new fan. Samantha is amazing and just brings the book to life. Looking forward to listening to more

Comeback

Connor was amazing as a narrator. Samantha has become a narrator I enjoy listening to as well. Narrating was great. Now to the story, Kate is fresh out of rehab when she discovers Caleb has moved on with someone else. She is on mission to get Caleb back at any cost. I did not like some of the things she was doing, she came off as selfish and immature. Then there is Beck who has loved her and is there for her despite her self-destruction. I don't want to spoil it but I was happy with how it eventually ended.

It’s a beautifully crafted story of learning to let go and how to forgive yourself.

What an emotional roller coaster!! Kate’s character development is incredible. There were moments where I was like WTH is she thinking?! LOL I went into this story completely blind not knowing what to expect. It’s much more emotional than I thought but I was also pleasantly surprised at the complexity of The Summer You Found Me. It’s more than a spicy romance. It’s a beautifully crafted story of learning to let go and how to forgive yourself. (With incredible spice 🔥) The Duet narration was AMAZING. What a rough and wild ride with the most beautiful ending! Hands down a 5 star read!

Connor Crais & Samantha Brentmoor were FANTASTIC. Incredible audiobook! I need the others in audios stat!

Great series

I really enjoyed this book. I really didn’t care for Kate in the beginning and wasn’t sure I would be able to like her, but as the story unfolds I did. As the story went on and her past was revealed and I could read her inner thoughts about her past, I came to empathize with her and understand why she made some of the choices she did. I liked the character development of Kate throughout the book. Beck was such a good man and I loved his character, patience, and how he loved Kate for who she was including all her flaws.

I would recommend reading the other books in this series before this one.

I read the book in KU and listened to the audiobook. The audiobook is 5/5 narration. It is done in duet narration by Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais. Connor Crais voice was just chef’s kiss!

I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
