Together, they create the Starchild Institute governed by a document they call the Starchild Compact to further develop and introduce Ectarian technology to the Solar System. Using Ectarian technology, they develop near lightspeed spacecraft, artificial wormholes, FTL starships, and human longevity.
As human colonies expand into the Solar System, they form a governing coalition: The Iapetus Federation. While a united Islam pursues a global Jihad that rages across the planet putting millions to the sword, the Federation enables an exodus from Earth using artificial wormholes. The third book was fair it best in my opinion. The new drive was a nice add on but overall the third book was very dry.

Stop the voices. Stop the voices!
Ugh, trying to do German, Indian, Israeli, Russian, and Arabic accents; and failing miserably at all of them. I almost couldn't finish it because of the narrator.

I couldn't get through even the first chapter.
The story and the performance were very poor. I continued listening in goes that it would get better but no luck. I gave up before completing the first couple chapters.

I do not recommend this book!!
The writing is reminiscent of a high school composition paper. The characters are underdeveloped, unbelievable, and sex crazed because every professional relationship in the book is basically a sexual harassment poster board.

DNF- I really tried
A combination of nauseous dialog, unrealistic character interactions and mind numbing technical details was bad enough but the narrators attempt to do accents made it absolutely unbearable. I really tried! Almost forced my way through the first book
