Really well written, and read almost like a narrative. Was super fascinating. A must read for anyone trying to build something within an organization.

Great detail but not beyond the interest of space fans. I highly recommend it for anyone that enjoys the history of space flight and how we strived to get to the moon.

You feel like a first-row seater in an intimate stage act with remarkable characters and their captivating stories.
I've read tons of books on the Moon race, but this one is by far the best of its kind.

I've read many space books and this filled in a few holes related to politics and NASA. also focused on Alan Shepherd and Deke Slayton, two of original astronauts. Authors gave cred it to all of the heroic people who took us to the moon and beyond. good listen if you like space program.

Great story but narration a bit boring

Moonshot is well written and a look back at some of the most exciting space travel in our history. I feel that it could be much more enjoyable with a narrator who puts some emotion into telling the story.

Outstanding account of the Apollo Missions

I loved the. The personal accounts. The insights given really brought this to life. Among the best accounts of the NASA program and the astronauts who participated. The narrator was excellent. I felt as if he were telling the story without any written script. Very natural in his speaking. I highly recommend this book.
