Publisher's Summary

As High Prince and Princess, Rohan and Sioned must keep both the peace and the secret of the dragons. But the legacy of their evil predecessor remains - and as their son Pol grows up, the kingdom splits in what may become a bloody battle for the crown.

To make things worse, a long-vanquished foe vows to destroy the Prince. The only hope of defeating their dark sorcery lies in reclaiming the knowledge so carefully concealed in the long-lost Star Scroll.

BRILLIANT!

Wonderful! High Prince Rohan and High Princess Sioned meet with challenges and intrigues. Prince Pol is growing up and beginning to show his powers and strength as a Prince and Sunrunner. Very interesting plot and it kept me listening non-stop. Christa Lewis is a very good in performing the various characters. Heartbreaking at times but there is also victories. Well worth a credit. I am waiting anxiously for the next four books to be published! Soon please Audible.

Hearing The Star Scroll

Hearing Christa Lewis narrate this 2nd book of this triad by Melanie Rawn that I and my son's read years ago was such a treat, so enjoyable. It was much easier to imagine what each scene, character and weave of colors!
I highly recommend this book allone and if you enjoy this easy stretch then try this trilogy. And there is another trilogy that follows: separate except in time.
I have found another purpose this audio book on my pad serves. I have my V.A. diagnosed P.T.S.D. conditions that taking 10 to 15 minutes (pad has a countdown timer for audiobooks) to take control and give total focus to a story written and narrated with 5 star quality has helped any time 24/7.

I read ... and re-read the six book series 30 years ago and the audio version was perfectly narrated. You will come back to these books again add again, they're just that good!

Superb

Excellent story. lovable characters, and realistic view of people. nobody is perfect. This has been my favorite series since I was a child. And Christa Lewis is fantastic to listen to as she reads the world to life.

It was better the first time

I read this series when it first came out in paperback and was much younger. As an adult, it feels a bit superficial and transparent. It was a nostalgic read, but lacked the depth of science fiction and fantasy that I have read between the first time and this summer audio read 20 yrs or so later.
