Way Better Than It should Be

Chances are that you have read an isenkai type book where the protagonist is either reborn as a child in a different world or somehow inhabits the mind of a very young child from another world. In those books, the beginning chapters are always the worst because we are stuck listening to the relatively mondane happenings of a very young child who, of course, can't do much.

Therefore, this book should be terrible because the main character is less than one year old the entire book... but it isn't. It's a great book, and this MC has more balls than most of the other protagonists in this genre put together. At least the Russians haven't caved into the weak-willed male character trope yet. Even the humor is refreshingly rough and straightforward.

The book also manages to keep the reader's interest by doling out information about the world and the main character in a very natural and organic way. In fact, the whole plot felt very smooth and well crafted. I'm really happy that I gave this a try and I'm looking forward to the next book.

Refreshing and fun

It’s funny and entertaining. Turn it on and smile at some of the absurdity but really true human nature. Just a good entertaining audio book without pushing any obvious agenda which is so hard to find. Narrator was great looking forward to the next one.

I'm laughing so much 🤣 with this book. The narrator is so spot on with the characters too. That baby is the best! Definitely worth the credit.

This is something that has some really interesting twist to it. And gives you a good mystery. And that what makes so you want to keep listening and see what happens next

accelerated growth stories aren't my cup of tea

I like the concept of the reborn person not having memories of the previous life. But why force the growth of a baby's body into a toddler. I kinda get it from a story standpoint, wanting to show the person underneath. But to me it's kinda horrifying. *Monsterous"

Warning!!!

If you have anything like food or drink in your mouth while listening to this book chew and swallow as fast as you can because the one liners jokes that you will never see coming with have bursting out laughing with zero notice. "Well F my A" LMAO!!!!!

Tedious

I've never liked the reincarnation into babies theme, because protagonists that can't move or talk just aren't very interesting. But in the triumph of hope over experience, I bought this one based on the reviews. My mistake. Contrary to all the claims, the book isn't funny. Oh, the author tries very hard to be funny, but just isn't.
