Publisher's summary

Joe has the power. The question is, can he hold on to it?

The malevolent kingdom of the night is now aware of his presence. A confrontation is guaranteed, just as Rook intended.

Joe provides freedom to the oppressed and enslaved. They flock to his banner. His nine-to-five job is gone forever, for a ruler of a kingdom never sleeps.

He believes this magical world is a game designed for fun, with no real consequences, but he couldn't be more wrong. His AI partner is starting to see this new reality for what it is.

Will Joe, in his ignorance, continue to defeat every opponent? Or, in order to survive, must he be awakened?

Someone's going to die the final death, there's no way around that. Only who?

Slow narrator

Good book. Well written. Only complaint is the pace of the narrator. Easy fix was to speed up the book to 1.15.

the sleeper has awoken the dice must roll

the sleeper has awoken the dice must roll and it will the 20 this was a perfect Next Step can't wait for the next book. it shows the perfect progression with a solid base for freeing slaves and leveling up going to the Natural step of starting to free the slaves outside of his lands so it was I bet forced when it came to how he was forced to go after the queen that can be forgiven buy the rest of the book and what happened the only problem the series has is that it takes so long for him to write but even that can be forgiven buy a craftsmanship an Artistry he shows as an author

We're not done here. But...

There is no conclusion to the grand story and the universe in totality has now been effected. I thought this was a trilogy coming in and now I need to hope for more stories within this world. The book has a solid conclusion for now. But there is a lot of open ground left to cover and secrets galore to uncover.

wonderful

this is a beautiful series the plot is masterfully woven and the characters have such realistic personalities, with how litrpg stories being almost cookie cutter copies, this is a breath of fresh air.

Skip it!

Book 2 in this series was terribly written with a character with split personality's that did not even fit with things previously written and our MC absent half the book. I read comments by the author on how she had fixed the issues and this was a better book because of the comments so I chose to try the next book. This was a mistake! Book three was NOT as bad as book 2 but was still poor.
*spoilers*
In this book our master of mind magic and follower of "the way" continues in his complete self interested hypocrisy by his speciest actions.
Our poorly written split personality char instead of dying gets converted to a new named char better than the first but still poor
Our MC gets nerfed by the UI because the author could not figure out how to make time pass.
Finally an act of noble self sacrifice was pissed on by the author for no apparent reason.

I gave book 3 a try and it was a mistake I won't make again.
