Oh, and I guess I kind of, sort of accused her of being a stalker. It's fine!

Once my sexy, spunky, former best friend gets over the shock of seeing me again and stops trying to drive a nine-iron into my skull, I can finally let her know I've also kind of, sort of always been in love with her....

Such potential

I love Tara Sivec books... but this one was a whiny diatribe. The male narrator was great! But the woman’s part was played with an angry emo tone and the last word of every sentence was dragged out—so annoying!

Cute

Cute yet predictable. Not a fan of the Tess character bossiness. Love the endearing behaviors once they got it together.

Funny with a side of cute

This is a really cute story, with a little bit of potty mouth and smut. If you don't mind those last two elements this is a really fun book. I laughed my head off in spots... I especially loved the part where the hero blurted out his secret embarrassment to comfort the heroine when her bestie over-shared hers.

There wasn't a bunch of manufactured drama and this was in general a very likeable couple.

I will forever look at blue slushies in a whole different light....

Dragged out

I listened to this because I was intrigued by a golfer rom com etc.. it started off good but then definitely got dragged out and was very frustrating to keep listening to. I did like the characters but jeepers. They are adults! Speak your mind. Anywho the narrators did well. Since this is a series I’m debating listening to more because I did like the characters for the most part. Just didn’t like the way these particular two handled things. It was frustrating.

Female narrator awful

The female tone and the trough raspy word ends annoyed the heck out of me. Stopped listening.
