Good, engaging story
I really liked this book and appreciated the love stories developing in both timelines. Totally held my interest and I binge listened to the whole thing :)

A Great Listen!!
Really enjoying this series. This one was as good as the first two. Easy listening, great narration, well paced story with terrific characters in both timelines. Recommended.

Smash hit once again!!
Irina Shapiro continues to weave wonderful stories that eloquently draw you in and keep you rapt until the end. This tale was exciting and informative. It’s great to learn about how people of another era lived their lives. A wonderful book, highly recommended. Ms Shapiro never fails to satisfy your cravings for adventure, romance, and intrigue.

It was even better than the first
I liked the first in the series ending to try this one though I was disappointed with book 2 in the series …
The story got deeper and even better written as well as the storyteller who became superbly well expressed . If you like book 1 you may or may not like book 2 but … you will thoroughly enjoy book 3 of the series .

Loved this book just like the other 2!!
Cannot wait to finish the series and read book#4!!
Irina Shaprio is an amazing author and I love following her series. I usually don't like series but she has a fun way of keeping you interested without repeating too much of the previous book!! Too many authors feel they have to repeat everything, it is annoying!!
And as far as the Narrator, Jess Nahikian, she is an AMAZING NARRATOR!!!! I could listen to her all day long!! Fabulous job!

5 stars for a harrowing story!
This was a great story! I love the fact that the MC is an author and that it shows how she goes about finding her ideas and the historical records to back it up. I'm not happy about what is going on with the character Len but that is to be expected.

Great book and narratiion
I love these books but this one took awhile to get started. Once it did though, I couldn’t put it down. It was an exciting read and good story.
