Classic

I've had this one on my list for some time. I finally listened and was not disappointed. I'm not sure I could ever read the book after listening. Ackland did an excellent job narrating. His voice has a very dark, creepy quality to it. I could clearly picture both the writer and reader of the letters.

This was a quick and worthwhile listen. I would definitely consider it a top 5 in my audible library and would highly recommend it to any inquisitive individual:).

Joss Ackland did a fantastic job narrating this book. He had the perfect voice for Screwtape.

An eye opening book about what the spirits on the dark side are plotting. It acts as a window into the spiritual world we cannot see.

Enthralling Mind-bender With Everlasting Purpose

Whether or not you are a Christian, this book will make you think about the antagonist view to life. Every force has an equal and opposite one per Sir Isaac Newton and there are underlying currents to life which alter our reality. Take the time to listen carefully to the examples given and hear the true ring of adapt deception occuring in the human race.

I loved this book! it speaks to what our nation is experiencing how. so impressed with the performance and everything about this.

Fantastic storytelling

CS Lewis is brilliant, Using irony and humor to open our minds to spiritual matters and hidden temptations. The reader Joss Ackland was great. He had the perfect amount of sarcasm and derision to make you believe the demon was instructing his “nephew” in the temptation of man, whom they hate! This gave me so much to think about. It bears a few more re-reads or listens.

generationally now, as relevant, as when it was written. it was interesting to listen, and re-read this book again after so many years. if not for the time era references, I could have assumed but it was written within the past year. if I had not known otherwise . great read, I know I will want to revisit again.

Great book, great narration!

CS Lewis is always a joy to read. This book is one of his best, in my opinion - well worth the read! the narrator does a fantastic job.
