The storyline and the characters

No complaints at all I enjoyed the entire experience thoroughly and this adventure was excellent and informative

Anne tells a story from a different perspective then her father did

Anne is a gifted story teller and I love her view that she shares with us.

I wish the narrator was George Guidall. I love Anne and Tony Hillerman's books. When’s the next one? Thanks for sharing your story.

Enjoyable

This was an enjoyable story and a goid performance. I recommend it to other followers of Anne Hillerman.

I loved the narrator having a code talker teaching

pronunciation. Ann Hillerman was a little stiff at first, but has really come into her own. very good

Solid story in the flavor of Tony’s style

I think this is the best job Ann has done yet and carrying on the work of her father while making it her own. The narrator has been much criticized by others but I think she did a solid job. The greatest narrator of this series by far was the fabulous George Guidall. It’s a shame he’s not doing Ann’s books.

Totally changed characters:(

I miss my old Bernie, Chee, Darlene and Mama. They are gone,replaced by completely different personalities. Why change a beautiful presentation, which always totally amazed me, with a different reader who, no where near came close to the flavor of your characters. She's a good reader but not for our beloved Navajo friends we've grown to know and love.;)

These just keep getting better

I can’t get enough of these stories of Leephorn and Chee and Manuelito. And, the HUGE bonus was the glossary at the end- priceless treasure recording. This story continues with a case that is relevant and pulls in current events and issues. The reader is an excellent actor, adding to the story in subtle ways.
