Good for a child.

Fun story line. The writing was amateurish and at times I felt like this would be great for a child. The characters were entertaining and likable. The narrator was good in his range of different voices but the sound effects were a joke.

Good story and narration.

I enjoyed the story line and the narration, I also listened to the first series and enjoyed them both.

I loved the whole series the characters were funny and the story flowed together there was not one losse end

A good story

I wanted something that would last a while and this fit the bill. The story kept my interest throughout all the conflicts. However, I kept waiting for the change. It was a good adventure and had a good ending.

Lightweight fun.

Performancewise, the differing sound effects were a nice touch. The story was a little predictable, but, there is a good twist in book 10. I would have liked female voice actresses, for female roles.

go to chapter 287 with 15 seconds left in the chapter you will hear some interesting background conversation and that's not the only spot pretty funny

Tale is weaker this time 'round

(first and last part of this review is the same as my review for the first part of this series, as there's nothing different; middle part is the more important of this)

(btw you can kinda enjoy this without the first part, but it carries on the exact second the first ended, so I won't recommend doing so if you can help it)

The narration is great, but it's clearly low budget recording. Better quality audio devices and stronger hearing will make that painfully notable. However, once your ears adjust (if able), it's not as awful and you can still enjoy the series.

The story itself is very basic, but it does what's required of it. The author knows exactly what they want to tell and so very little is left to question.

THAT said, there was an underwhelming quality. While the first tale wasn't super original or insane quality, this sequel seemed rushed - and it's unrelated to any time skips.

The more the story continued, the less inclined the author was to kill *anyone* off... it made sense in the first tale as time skips were a key factor, but the stakes in this were dampened every. single. time. an established character somehow survived against all odds. It took away every moment of suspense after the trend became apparent.

Oh, and I can't stand the tropes Nath's dad was dealt. Of all characters, his was the most logical, expectant, and deserving to NOT have deserved any of that!

Only problem I've got with the narration, aside from the low budget recording, is they're not very good at women. Every woman portrayed has roughly the same exact voice (despite men and beasts having more distinct ones), but thankfully, the narrator knows how to keep them in character so it wasn't too difficult with the few consistent women.

The Story

This series is fantastic! Love the story! Wonderful ending too. I like a nice story without profanity.
