Dropped off in the swamps as a baby, Revelator is found by an old woman who raises him to become the Moses of the Bayou. He works with The Bishops, using his gifts to protect the swamp from invisible threats, while another darkness forces him into a life of celibacy to protect others.

Why can’t I just get a book read to me by a man? The forced rough voice is ridiculous and then to have impersonate a black woman was embarrassing. Thankfully I had headphones. The fake voices take away from story.

The narrator cannot for the life of him pronounce boudin…among other words and as a fellow girl from Louisiana it’s a struggle at the butchering of such a beautiful language….😩

Samuel's (Revalator) story in my opinion, was more exciting then Bishops and Beth. The innocence of such a strong man and his ability to see the past, present and future of all! Including his one and only love!❤️
