a must read.

I'm not going to be so impertinent to try to explain Camus . This is a journey you will have to take yourself . it's will leave you more confused then before you started . and a little less alive. but there is your reason to live better .

Moderation and Excess

Buy it of only for the final chapter. Camus redefines centrism by focusing on the process rather than the ideological position.

Relevant to the modern American

I don't think Camus would feel any different today than he felt in the 50s when this was written

Not what I expected

While I enjoyed the book, I was expecting a novel not a philosophical essay on rebellion and revolution.

There is a way forward

I first picked up this book fifty years ago. Camus presents a compelling argument for rebellion and moderation in the pursuit of justice based on the dignity of mankind.
