Punk Rock Superstar Collapses In Front Of Record Crowd

Hendrix Cavanaugh Rushed To Hospital In Mexico City

Cavanaugh Leaves Hospital AMA

I've loved Hendrix Cavanaugh since his high school mascot days, and seeing him grind himself down like this has been driving me up a wall. Now that he's collapsed on stage, I can't watch from the sidelines for a second longer.

I know I'm not his type—I'm a network security specialist who wears expensive suits and alphabetizes his spice drawer. In contrast, Hendrix wears all black, including his eyeliner and nail polish, and I doubt he's so much as alphabetized his contacts list.

Swooping in to save the day won't make him notice me. I know that. But he has to come off the road, and I have to be the one to take care of him, or I'm going to go out of my mind.

That said, sharing a cabin with him while he recovers might be the dumbest thing I've ever done in my entire life.

Suit vs Punk God

After Punk Rocker, Hen (Hendrix), collapses on stage, he barely escapes exhaustion to make it back home, to Seguin, Texas. He ends up being nursed back to health by his friend, Sawyer, who is so fastidious, he wears a _suit_ to work from home. The more Hen feels better, the more he pushes Sawyer’s buttons. Are these opposites destined to attract or implode?

This is book 3 of the Lost Boys series. In the town of Seguin Texas, high school teacher, Mr Paige, started an LGBTQ student group before those were a thing. He called them his Lost Boys. After tragedy strikes, the original lost boys reunite in their hometown. The series is about the town’s recent changes, the lost boys finding their way, and discovering love. I have listened to 500+ MM romance books and I can tell you; this series is something special. It should win awards.

Declan is the best MM narrator and could not have done a better job.

Be sure to mind the trigger warnings.

Stellar performance for a stellar book

I love absolutely everything about this book (this author, this series) and this narrator. The combination of deeply felt emotions and rich, complex characters written by Kelly Fox with the fantastic, powerful performance by Declan Winters is a combination that simply can’t be beat. Hen and Sawyer are simply meant to be together, even if Hendrix takes awhile to get with the program. So much love and so much respect - I can’t say enough about these stories.
