I am actually looking forward to reading this title again. When are they adapting this for film?

This was a light, fun read. Loved that the topic of feminism is highlighted throughout the whole book. Not so well written though, and the story is just “meh..”.

Loved it!

I am in love with Jasmine Guillory’s writing style. Her characters are relatable and funny! I am an author myself and if I ever choose to produce and audiobook I would love to work with Janina Edwards, her voice is perfect!

Meh.

The person reading the book didn't have the best acting skills and put the wrong emphasis on words. It made it a little difficult to enjoy. Also the story really wasn't that exciting. The author was trying to convince us that the main character was independent and was cold hearted when it came to men which made me not really like or relate to her. I love the diversity in the story though but I do think that the story was a bit boring. Nothing excited really happened after the proposal until the very end. The sour cream moment was suppose to be funny but it wasn't really. It was just an ok book.

Couldn't put it down. I loved listening to it versus reading it. Great pick for book clubs.
