One for everyone!

One of the best listens in a long time! Will listen again one day, something I don’t normally do. Too much to take in the first time, with a story that flowed and so many lessons to learn! Wonderful narrator too!

This is a dumb book. too abstract to keep my interest. I'm returning it for credit.

Feel good story

Loved listening to this gorgeous story about love and loss and reconnection and families and all that’s in between. I would recommend!

Interesting story idea

I liked the story but it was a tad odd too. Once I stuck with it it actually got better.

Compelling

Started slow but if you stick it out it is so worth it!! Really enjoyed this book. Fun to think of scents in a new way. Also I want to live on an island.

Beautiful I written

I loved the lyrical Prose of this book and the effortless imagery. It reminded me of “Where the Crawdads Sing” and “The Prince of tides” . A lovely read.

Scents as memories is powerful

This story was extremely pleasant to read. It was sad and full of pathos which ran throughout the story. Emmaline’s story was a story of growth from beginning to end.
