Don’t buy

Not worth it.
Read a lot of self-help books, this is nothing but common sense and basic knowledge, impossibly boring to listen too.
Read or listen to “Rewire” by Richard O’Connor instead, that book I’m listening for 5th time over now.

Great advice!

The Procrastination Cure really nails it! How does Damon know that I sneak off to Facebook or Words with Friends to avoid doing what I need to do? His concrete 21 steps are a big help.

Full of practical actions to stop procrastinating.

I loved it - particularly the breakdown of different types and reasons for procrastination and how to match up the right cure.

Very informative and to the point.

I like the way the author related his past stories and experiences to illustrate some material in the textbook.

Not for me

Can’t get through the narrator. Read like someone who is trying to act like they think an actor would read it.

First part itself is just a litany of why the author thinks he’s cool enough to present this. I might be able to get further if not for the above.

takes forever to get to the point

the whole first half is like those annoying commercials that are like "I accomplished this and here's the steps." then the video goes on and on and then wants you to buy the product. but in this case you already bought or are consuming said product! just get to the point 🤬

No value in this book or take away whatsoever

This book provides nothing else that a 15 minute article or a 10 minute YouTube video wouldn’t.

First, it lack content so much that it’s filled with tons menial examples, experiences and references to certain situations.

Second, any person who fells the need to fix procrastination knows for sure all the “tactics” the author pretends to slips as his.

Third, the core ideas would literally take 10 minutes to be explain in a clear and sufficient manner. Yet this book takes more than 3 hours at normal speed.

The writing is so plain and dull that is as boring to read as the phone guide.

After listening completely with the hope of some decent or applicable advice I’m so pissed that I regret the very first moment I downloaded it.

Brilliant

So much more helpful and practical than many other books on this subject (like Eat That Frog, which I think is rubbish).

Fantastic, well structured

I absolutely loved this book. As a chronic procrastinator myself I found it very insightful. it is researched well and split into useful sections: reasons we procrastinate and then tactics to overcome procrastination. I also liked the fact that the chapters were smaller and easier to take on the concepts from each. I would highly recommend this book and will be searching for other books from this author.

The crest of change…

I feel inspired by this book. So many “yup that’s me” moments, make it relatable in a way that brings promise for productive change. Love the tactics and can’t wait to apply them at home, play and work. Thanks for taking the time to write this Damon.
