Repeats itself. I like the overall concept of the story.

Interesting overall story line, but same thing happens over and over. Captured, escape, brief relief, forecasting doom & gloom, captured again. Doom and gloom thoughts from main character constantly.

Disappointed

I tried to get through this series, but as the story goes on, the more I can't get into the plot

Exactly as advertised

Good for what it is. Story progressed as expected. Ending felt rushed but was happy.

Really, really struggled to finish.

This was written as if the author had no idea where the story would end up. Don't waste your time on this one if you liked the first two books in the series.

uh oh Z gets drugged and wakes up in a random place with a new "boss" to defeat. She fails but someone rescues her at the last minute..... this scenario happend at least 4 times.

like hunger games

This story is a little extreme on brutality. It is a marriage of hunger games and the selection. It definitely keeps you hooked.

My throat quickened while writing this

I had to get through the series as I was invested it, but so glad I don’t have to read about any more mouths tightening , hearts expanding, eyebrows drawing together and more. The author uses the same expressions over and over. I found myself fast forwarding a lot of unnecessary plot.

Series junkies

So impressed by this series, could hardly wait for the third installment, but I have to say, it was worth the wait! So much edge of your seat action, one thing after another, they all must have had 9 lives. Clean language, sensual, but not graphic sex. Perfect!

best book ive read this year

So I have been in a book slump for a very long time I couldn't find anything that topped Sarah J mask books, Like it was impossible to maybe have found maybe one that came up to par but not really anything, But this book literally was amazing!!!! I couldn't figure out what was going to happen next and each plot turn didn't bore me to death, It literally was surprising and exciting I'm impressed with how much thought and detail that she put into this book, I'm just so impressed with everything that went on in this book, I seriously recommend anybody to read it!!!
