Publisher's Summary

Prince Owin

Being a fierce predator - not at all adorable, despite my graceful stature - the last thing I needed was a bodyguard. Especially a wolf shifter, whose presence alone was an insult to my princely principles.

As prince of the Ocelot Shifters, I prided myself on my infallible feline instincts, uncompromising dignity, and flawless fashion sense. If having a canine follow me around at all times wasn’t bad enough, I now faced the most important moment of my entire life.

The time had come to prove I was worthy of my crown. If only I could find a way to get rid of the pesky bodyguard...

Grimmwolf

When the king of All Shifters asked me to guard Prince Owin, I admit I had no idea what to expect. Cat shifters tend to be a little intense, not to mention kinda cranky. Owin was no exception, though he seemed crankier than most.

Being his bodyguard was proving to be one of the greatest challenges of my life, but not nearly as great as convincing him there was something special between us.

When Owin was tasked with a perilous quest to prove his worth, I was determined to keep him safe, even if the same couldn’t be said of my heart.

Pleasantly Surprised

I admit I have a prejudice against shorter audio books. I feel like they don't have enough depth to truly fall in love with the characters.

But, WOW! Was I wrong.

This was amazing! I rarely give a book a full five stars across the board but this book earned it! I was laughing nearly the entire time. The characters were truly relate able. The relationship didn't feel rushed. What's more, it really built up the desire to listen to the books in the other series.

I would definitely recommend this!! I can't wait for the other books in the series! (And the king's story better be included!)

Fun times!

This was hilarious! The snark and sass is strong with this one. The read was great, low angst, high on humor. Want a short but fun listen? This is a great choice

You'll laugh, you'll swoon, you'll fall in love

I'm not someone who typically laughs when listening to or reading books, but there were a few instances during this audiobook where I did. Not only is the humor beautifully written and masterfully delivered, but the characterisation is too notch and the prose is rich.

Bravo to Charlie and Greg! What a fantastic job.

A fun read

Book one of this new series is a light-hearted & enjoyable listen. It is a novella-so pretty short. Excellent narrator. Prince Owen goes on a quest with Griff. He grows up a lot. I will definitely read the next story in the series.

Greg KILLS the narration for this!

OMG I don't know if I have laughed and chuckled this much while listening to any audio book I own. Greg absolutely NAILED this book with the snark, the sarcasm, witt, and lolz. And the romance, and the action, and the love. But seriously? His voice for Owin as he's going through this "I'm fierce" thoughts is just priceless.

I just adored this. Yes, Owin is a prissy, snobby, brat at the beginning but this quests make him into a better person, and a perfect partner for Grimm. Oh Grimm, my heart. I love how much he loves Owin.

HIGHLY recommended in audiobook - if you read the book and even kinda enjoyed it, you're just going to love the audio.

Laughs all the way.

I love Charlie Cochet's work, this first book in a new series is no exception. It's short by audio standards but it's not rushed. It's full of adventure, snark, Laughs, a gentle self awakening and two shifters realising they are in love. I have to say the King is a dense man and I hope his story is a good one.
Add in Greg Boudreaux's masterful narrative and you have a marvelous afternoons listening.
