Publisher's summary

Prince Owin

Being a fierce predator - not at all adorable, despite my graceful stature - the last thing I needed was a bodyguard. Especially a wolf shifter, whose presence alone was an insult to my princely principles.

As prince of the Ocelot Shifters, I prided myself on my infallible feline instincts, uncompromising dignity, and flawless fashion sense. If having a canine follow me around at all times wasn’t bad enough, I now faced the most important moment of my entire life.

The time had come to prove I was worthy of my crown. If only I could find a way to get rid of the pesky bodyguard...

Grimmwolf

When the king of All Shifters asked me to guard Prince Owin, I admit I had no idea what to expect. Cat shifters tend to be a little intense, not to mention kinda cranky. Owin was no exception, though he seemed crankier than most.

Being his bodyguard was proving to be one of the greatest challenges of my life, but not nearly as great as convincing him there was something special between us.

When Owin was tasked with a perilous quest to prove his worth, I was determined to keep him safe, even if the same couldn’t be said of my heart.

Greg KILLS the narration for this!

OMG I don't know if I have laughed and chuckled this much while listening to any audio book I own. Greg absolutely NAILED this book with the snark, the sarcasm, witt, and lolz. And the romance, and the action, and the love. But seriously? His voice for Owin as he's going through this "I'm fierce" thoughts is just priceless.

I just adored this. Yes, Owin is a prissy, snobby, brat at the beginning but this quests make him into a better person, and a perfect partner for Grimm. Oh Grimm, my heart. I love how much he loves Owin.

HIGHLY recommended in audiobook - if you read the book and even kinda enjoyed it, you're just going to love the audio.

You'll laugh, you'll swoon, you'll fall in love

I'm not someone who typically laughs when listening to or reading books, but there were a few instances during this audiobook where I did. Not only is the humor beautifully written and masterfully delivered, but the characterisation is too notch and the prose is rich.

Bravo to Charlie and Greg! What a fantastic job.

A fun read

Book one of this new series is a light-hearted & enjoyable listen. It is a novella-so pretty short. Excellent narrator. Prince Owen goes on a quest with Griff. He grows up a lot. I will definitely read the next story in the series.

Wonderful new series!!

As a huge fan of Charlie Cochet’s books, this new series had many of the features that made Ms Cochet books so amazing: wonderful characters, a brilliant and interesting plot and a sweet and endearing love story. Of course, with all the action, danger and mystery involved, Owin and Grimm needed to accept they were made for each other to gain more than a reign. And the amazing performance of Mr Boudreaux made this hilarious fairytale even better specially in the interactions between the main characters bringing them alive in a very unique way. Loved it!

fantastic narration. story was amusing and funny

the brilliant narrator's performance was spectacular. the story was funny and nicely heated at moments. although it could've used more detail in the sexier parts. I enjoyed it and would be interested in another one of the king's adventures!!

loved it !

Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Were there any parts I found annoying: no - only that it was too short 😁
Did I feel an emotional connection to the characters: yes
Would I listen to it again: yes

I found myself completely immersed in this book, constantly chuckling at the antics of Owin and Grimm - it was truly delightful and I didn't want it to end.

Greg Boudreaux is an excellent narrator. His performance is full of humor and heart, bringing life and emotion to the book making for an enjoyable audio experience.

I hope there are many more Cochet / Boudreaux projects in the future !

Great read.

If you enjoy laughing this is the book to listen to. I laughed so hard with the way Owen was was written and portrayed by Greg. Lots of fluff. Looking forward to hearing the next one in the series.

I laughed the whole book

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book and loved it from beginning to end. The voice for both characters were perfect. I loved the hissy fits the prince would throw. This book is a quick and fun listen. I wish this author had more books like this one.
