great story

Nicole Dykes is one of my favorite authors and then she paired this gem with some great narrators. All around 5 ⭐ for this title. I am pretty sure the whole series will be 5 ⭐ worthy. Axel and Sebastian are just so perfect together even after their rough start.

Super Fun Story

Loved this story. Pitted against each other but in lust can only lead to one thing….secret relationship. I loved how the author gave thought to each of the men coming out while still being in their sport.

The narrators are gold and I always enjoy listening to them 🤍🤍

Great Start to a New Series!

I really enjoyed this original storyline, enemies to lovers story! Excellent character and relationship development. My favorite dynamic duo narrators, Liam and Tim, really bring the story to life. Highly recommend!

I love the story.I love how axel and sebastian take two Different roads to discovering exactly What they truly want , I love how sebastian Fights back when it comes to being his true self.I love how Axel starts to understand His self and understand that everything that he fought for to gain would never be lost because he already had something that could never be taken away from him. I also.
Think this would make a great show

Great start to this series!

I was happy to see this series with racing after devouring football romances from this author, I liked the change of pace. Not gonna lie, the bright colors of the covers got my attention initially. I was so happy to listen to these twice this year, they are quick listens but they have a lot of story and character development so you don't feel shortchanged by it being a shorter story.

I liked the enemies to lovers trope here, but it wasn't a long standing frenemies going on haha. I liked how Sebastian and Axel couldn't help the attraction between them when they had one on one time together and things sparked and they kept their hooks up a secret for years. I loved how Sebastian couldn't continue being what he wasn't, but him finally realizing he needed to do it for himself and not for others was beautiful (after he had some good advice). I felt bad for Axel but his reactions made it harder for Sebastian but was happy they finally were brave enough to be together. Their back and forth was fabulous, not over the top, but had so much emotional connection.

I also really loved all the characters in this world, you get to see some of them have their own HEAs but the others are staples in this 4 book series and made my reader heart so happy. I loved Sebastian's change in agent, she is a hoot!! I thought the narration also really added to these relationships (main and side) and this fabulous world this author built up and got me hooked to. I felt the heat, the connection between our 2 guys, but also the brotherly love and family they have built at this company and outside their work. I loved the discussion about the LGBTQ community and making safe spaces for them in sports/showing kids around the world it's ok. The 2 narrators did a great job with the confrontations between the 2 guys about coming out, the heartbreak was palpable but glad it didnt last too long haha.

I will say since I have listened to all 4 books this is probably my 2nd fav (book 3 is my clear winner, more to come then!) and thought it did a good job setting the scene for the reader and get us excited for more from this world in the other 3 books.
