excellent book

I love reading and listening to people look for the positives in everyday situations especially when it comes to hard trials in our life.

Wow truly made me feel his pain!!!!

I found myself having to push myself to complete reading this book due to his graphic description of his illness and it's affect on him. I heard the book through Audible and hearing this man go on and on about his pain, well at some point I got tired of hearing the winening in his voice was unbearable. I basically had to struggle to turn it back on to continue hearing him wine over his true pain was hard to listen to because of how descriptive he was.
I stuck it out and loved the pure message he wanted to convey. I just think he could have shared it without so much information about his illness.I know about pain after having two total knee replacements and agree that what got me through was my faith in God, So Kudos to a great message being provided, guess it was hearing so much about "Feces" that honestly turned me off for a while - I agree with his beliefs, This is a truly amazing life, Everything is conspiring for my benefit and There are no bad days,

Just finished your first book, Positive Thinking Secret. Thanks for putting it on Audible! That's my preferred method of reading books. I don't know why it took me so long to get your book and read it! It totally blew my mind! Really opened my eyes to everything you guys were going through and how challenging life can be sometimes....but how resilient and tough we can be. It only took me a few days to complete it - I couldn't stop listening! Even stayed up past midnight one night listening, which is rare for me since I'm such an early bird. Your story is so compelling, heart wrenching, and moving. Thanks to you and Nan for sharing and inspiring me! Can't wait to read your new one! Please keep putting your books on Audible!

Torture

I didn’t realize I was buying a book that was going to talk nothing but about this authors health for the majority of the book. I get it, he was saying how no matter what happened in his life he decided that it was never worth a bad day. Aggravating to say the least.

There was no warning of the religious agenda.

What would have made The Positive Thinking Secret better?

My disclaimer: I encourage other peoples beliefs and Religions.
I'm certain the book "The Positive Thinking Secret" will be brilliant for so many people. My criticism is purely the lack of the 'heads up' that the review gives no indication that there is a religious basis behind the book. If I had known that then I would have been informed that the book was not for me. (Please read my disclaimer again if you're feeling annoyed)
As a result of my discovery I only got through to chapter 10 and am therefore not informed enough about the books remaining contents to review it further.
