The Pawn

War of Hearts, Book 2

De: Natasha Knight

Narrado por: James Cassidy, Nikki Grey

I rule a kingdom built on blood.

Brutality is my legacy.

The moment I saw Allegra Moretti, I knew I had to have her.

The night I planned to make her my wife, my enemies attacked.

They took her from me.

They did not know the monster they unleashed.

I burned the world down to bring her home.

Now, I’ll go to war for her.

I will tear our families apart and I will deliver her enemies to her in pieces.

Allegra is my queen and I will destroy any man who dares hurt her.

Wow!!

The action in this book feels like a movie, love it all the way. Book 1&2.

3.5 for the love story

Overall the book was ok. There wasn't much romance development. She hated him in one chapter and the next they were in love. Even then there wasn't much relationship. S*x yes, but no actual relationship. Also, how many times can one woman be the damsel in distress? This story could have been told in half the time. However, the narration was spot on.

well

It was a rollercoaster. Some parts just dragged... But then it weren't so fast and the clear plot twist were good. It wasn't as great as book one. It felt dragged still a good story. Narrators great💚

So thrilling!

Cassian and Allegra are the best couple I’ve encountered in a while! Cassian realizes how wrong he was to dismiss Allegra and becomes her enforcer. It is one heck of a ride! Full of twists and turns. You won’t see everything coming. I am happy about how this turned out! I hope Jet gets a book/series. I’m so hoping for it! Glad I stumbled upon this series!

Oh my word!!!

These books 1 and 2 are absolutely precious!! I love the the love that grows that comes to the surface!
