Entertaining

I really like the way this was read. After listening to books read in this manner it is hard for me to listen to other books. I like the sound effects. I enjoy listening to this kind of dual narration. All books should be read in this manner.

Great story!

This is a continuation of the first book Honor Bound. You really need to listen to it first to understand the story. Mikayla and Vaughn are happily awaiting the birth of their first child. Watched over carefully by her guards, she a few weeks away from her delivery date when Vaughn needs to return to his former home to reassure his people that he is truly back as their Overlord. Unfortunately, while he’s gone Mikayla starts having back pain so her guards call the holy man who will be delivering her child to check on her. Suddenly the compound is attacked by rip I guess warriors as Mikayla goes into labor. Will Vaughn return home in time? Loved the ending! Narration is well done.

Wonderful characters

This is a continuation of the first book and finishes this storyline and nicely sets up the next. The characters become old friends, old friends that you are happy to see are leading a good life. I'm looking forward to the next book to see how this character has a good (hopefully) life. Enjoyable, heartwarming read.

miss Michael Pauley

I listened to the first book in this series and loved the narration, found I was not as into this reading. I thought the narration was missing something, the Overlord just didn't sound as powerful.
