good story line

She was disappointing , for such a intelligent woman, she was incredibly stupid. One moment she very observant. Then she asks the stupidest questions......

Loved the story but….-

I really enjoyed the story, just the lack of fluctuations in the readers voice made it hard to know when he switched from one character to another.

Solid

Very solid sifi book, good plot, good characters and dynamics, definitely the middle of a series so i have to go back to the beginning but solid book over all. no complaints.

Bought on Sale

I read the first 3 books in the original series several years ago. The books were enjoyable, bur I didn't feel a need to continue the series or buy the audiobooks. When this book was on a recent sale I decided to try it. J.F. Harding has a great voice and did a wonderful job with the narration. The characters each had a distinctive voice. It was a pleasant and easy listen from the beginning to the HEA and definitely worth my $5. If you already have the ebook, it has been Whispersynced and will be less than $8.

Not bad but......

I wish the story was longer. It feels like the ending was rushed and cuts the last chapter.

"refuse to put down" til done

I was interrupted by work, but refused to put it down til the end. The narrator was awesome, never missing a beat, brought goose bumps in places. It has been a while since I have wanted to read (listen to) a book from cover to cover non-stop. Thank you for making the escape from reality so pleasurable.

pleasantly surprised and will get the series

Update - I had no idea this series was a sequel to the Dark Planet series. This 1st book is good as a stand alone, but the 2nd book has a lot of reference to the events that happened in the Dark Planet series so I would suggest listening to those books before starting this series.

I had this book sitting in my wish list for awhile and decided to finally give it a listen so I was very happy to have it be more than I expected. I was invested from the start and enjoyed the scifi world building and HEA story. Overall this is very light on the erotica side and more in-line with typical romance, however the intimate scenes are still very steamy

J.F. Harding did a great job with the narration and I never lost track of the different characters. Really look forward to his narration now.

love this series

I just really enjoy listening to this series. I always enjoy the characters and battles and of course the romance. I also enjoy the narration.

Absolutely awesome

This was one of her best books besides Tara’s and Abbey’s stories. I loved Torin what a wonderful creature and she was definitely good for him. Very full of action keeps you on your toes.

Cordolians

This is another one of the Cordolians. He of course has a healthy respect for the General. I am glad this story has continued with a new series. Thought the story had ended but those guys with cool suits are still around. I will enjoy reading about the new characters and hopefully their connection to the old ones.
