Publisher's Summary

The Other Brother is a small-town second chance romance that can be listened to as a stand-alone romantic comedy. See why readers are falling in love with these blue-collar heroes.

I got the call. The dreaded call every child fears. My dad wasn't well, and the man who had always been my everything needed me. There was only one thing to do: pack up and head back to my small hometown. I had finally made my dream life in the city, with the great job and loving boyfriend. But was there really a choice not to go?

I found a wonderful job and a quaint house to rent; my boyfriend is working on joining me in Binghamton, and my favorite pizza place is only miles away. Life is good. Until I meet my neighbor. It's been three years since I've seen Aaron Walters, and my God is he all kinds of sexy gorgeous. Figures. He was supposed to be my forever, the man I grew old with, but he had different plans. How can a man who ripped my heart apart still trip me up? How can he make me still want him now more than ever?

I'm tempted, I'm drawn toward him, I'm completely and utterly unaware that I'm dating his biological brother.

Now two men own my heart. The question is, which brother will I choose?

Book 4 in series

Aaron has had it rough all his life, some of which he's created for himself. His past regrets come back to haunt him when his ex moves in next door. Amelia returns to her hometown to take care of her ailing father. She's thown back into the past when her temporary landlord is none other than her ex, Aaron, who broke her heart before she left for college. Aaron sets out on a journey to win her over and win her back, but Amelia has a boyfriend and it's one that can be the final blow to Aaron's painful past. The story was a mix of comedy, tragedy, regret, and drama. While I found some of the scenes somewhat a bit on the immature side, I have to remember the age of the characters and how the story is considered a ROMCOM so it still has to remain on the lighter side. I really did enjoy the narrators with this book. Rock Engle and McKenzie Harte were believable as Aaron and Amelia's characters.

A great feel good novel

This was such a fun book! I loved the characters instantly! Aaron is a complicated teddy bear with an open heart and Amelia is sweet and true. They both want the best for each other an it drives them apart without meaning to. This novel Is so well written. I am sure it will be a feel-good repeat listen for me!

Fantastic story!💜

I loved this storyline as well as the great characters. Heart breaking second chance romance that will have you swooning. This is my first book narrated by Rock Engle. I absolutely loved him, particularly his steamy scenes. Wow! Both narrators did an amazing job. This is book 4 but can read as a standalone. I highly recommend this book. Sisters Spotlight 💜

Aaron and Amelia

I enjoyed this this story and would recommend it. I liked how it had a second Chance because romance and it was not really a love triangle. I liked the reference to Little Debbie snacks, she was almost a character too lol. Narration was good. Sisters Spotlight 💕

It’s ok.

The first half of the story is pretty good. The second has a little more drama to to. The major thing I didn’t like was Aaron (male main character) comes across as a little b*tch. I don’t know if it was how the book is written or the voice actor, but he comes across as whiny. For me, insecure whiny men are a huge turn off. I wouldn’t recommend this book.

Great Series

Loved it. Really enjoyed the fact that no one ended up pregnant in the series. I get so sick of that being the plot in other romances. This was refreshing.

Amazing and addictive

I don’t normally write a full review but here it is. First, I can honestly say I this is the first time I have had to force myself to stop listening to a book. I couldn’t stop! I wanted to know what was going to happen next. It was exciting to be so enthralled in their relationship. Second chance romances are normally bittersweet for me, but this was just sweet. I liked both the hero and the heroine. The character development was impeccable. Great listen!

Good

Loved the story. Didn’t love the male narrator - actually had to skip through the sex scene because it was cheesy, not sexy. I have had a lot of trouble with male narrators lately, so maybe I am just getting too picky, but dang - ehh are they so cheesy so often? Basically yelling in their attempts to be intense.

Narration ruined it.

Narrators were different than previous books in this series, but still the same issue. The voices are too old for the age of the characters which ruins the audiobook for me.

A Wonderful love Story

We meet another couple in Meghan’s series of standalones, but sometimes they are characters we have met in previous books. This is the story of Smalls, friend and work partner to Tucker and Racer from previous books. Each of these men have had a hard life so it is gratifying to see each of the guys get their hea. So I was really pleased that it was Aaron’s turn.
As someone new moves in next door, Aaron can’t believe that it’s his ex-girlfriend Amelia, the girl he loved more than his self.
Amelia has moved back, because her father’s Alzheimer’s has gotten worse and she wants to be near him. Even though she has left Trey her boyfriend behind. He is hoping to follow as soon as he can.
I loved this couple together, this is a very emotional book. My god you could feel the chemistry between them. Unfortunately there was a lot of hurt and misunderstandings to get through before they reach HEA. I can’t recommend this book enough it’s a beautiful story and I loved every minute of it, and always good to see my boys happy.
I read this when it came out in book form, but I'm pleased to say the narrators brought the story to another level. I have not listened to either of the narrators before, but Rock Engel brought so much passion and emotion the role of Aaron. This would definitely be worth more than 5 stars

Wow

Enjoyed Smalls story. A second chance romance with a twist. Just love that all characters from previous books come in and out of the story. Narration was awesome too.
