Action packed yet heartwarming

I thought the narrators did a decent job of capturing their respective characters and both handled action scenes particularly well.
KM Shea is one of my favorite authors and this is a fine sample of her work. I loved the character growth, the banter, and the world building. The task force made for a really fun set of side characters and I love watching them all interact! I have yet to come across any other urban fantasy author in the same class and that has not been due to lack of trying!

Once Again a Winner

Kitty is a master at developing characters, complete with identifiable quirks and engaging mannerisms.
Jade, Considered and even the whole task force are no different
I loved the quirky fun card games, and Sarge's "punishment " that never seems to have a deadline and so is not really expected to be turned in, although Jade worries about it constantly.
I did keep looking for the Paragon to make an appearance, but I don't know how he could have been worked in, so
again Well done!

I loved Considine’s droll yet bored voice.

I always love KM Shea’s books, but these narrators are fabulous. I can’t wait for her next series.

KM does it again.

Finishing the Magiford series has been bittersweet. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single trilogy. I can't recommend her books enough. They're like cozying up in a warm blanket with a cup of your favorite drink after a long, cold day.

An instant favorite

One of the best books I've ever read/listened to. I finished it and immediately started again. I love this series and I don't think I'll ever tire of it.
