Publisher's summary

Dan is often funny. Dan is often high.

Dan is often extremely irritating to those around him.

But life with Dan is never boring.

As summer winds down in the mountains of Idaho, Dan and his group are preparing for a long winter in their hardened underground home. Unlike the majority of Americans, they have power, running water, and plenty of food thanks to the preparations of paranoid podcaster Kyle Cross.

On a beautiful day, Dan sets out on a solo mountain bike ride, one of his favorite ways to clear his head. In typical fashion, he pushes himself beyond his limits and wipes out on a challenging section of trail.

When he wakes up, he finds that his injuries are not the worst of his problems. He's bound to a tree and staring into the eyes of a woman they'd all hoped was dead.

The Way Of Dan

Great addition to the serious. Wrote well like always and narrated perfect like always. Great action throughout I never once got bored.

More Please!

Love the stories, the series, Author Horton, Mr. Pierce and the rather relatable, Dan himself. The read itself is extremely enjoyable, but Captain Pierce somehow narrates better than I do when reading it to myself. Can’t wait to see what gets in Dans Way at the next station.

The way of Dan is the only way

Another excellent book in the Way of Dan series. It is like the author and narrator work together to get the right mix of humour and suspense.

Thanks and I can wait for the next hook in the series.

Not the best of Horton

All though this one wasn’t too bad. It wasn’t Franklin’s best. I know what he is capable of. But no worries, I’m still and always will be a huge fan!

Unexpected

I was not expecting the way of Dan to take this route. Kind of sad, but I know the author has something in store for us.

very good book.

I would definitely recommend this book. I'll read anything by Franklin Horton. I think I've read everything he's written.
