The Omega's Surprise Baby

I loved this book. The storyline was great, you can tell the plot and all of the characters were well thought out. We learned a lot about Alphas and Omegas specifically and how they live and how they're viewed in different parts of the world they live in. The entire book kept my attention held the whole time. And This just bumped book 1 off my favorites of the series.
Alpha Shane is still dealing with the aftermath of his Omega mates passing a few years earlier. He's just trying to get through each day while raising his kids. When he finally decides it might just be time to move on with his life. Music star Omega/Kade comes to town to sing at Shane's Cousins wedding and ends up staying with Shane and his kids while in town. Kade is dealing with a Scandal and a horrible past marriage he cant seem to run from. After one night together Kade leaves town only to wind up back in Oceanport after he finds out he's pregnant. When they decide to make a go at a relationship, they have to figure out how to be strong enough together to get through all the past hurts and make their way into the future together as a family.
I have to also say I really enjoyed how the Author incorporated Shane's son Connor and his daughter Mary into this story. We get to see Conner as a 10 year old coming into his own trying to navigate all his feelings about becoming an Omega, especially with all the stigma there is with Alpha/Omegas in the world. The Author did great making sure all his feelings were brought to life and I totally Loved those parts of the story I really think it added a lot to this book.
Audio - This Audiobook is Great!! I really Enjoyed listening to this entire book, and I think its now my favorite of the first three books. John Solo did such a good job with this one this is the best narration from him I have listed to so far. I am really impressed with his narration and voices for all the different characters in this book.

Music and Love

I am so glad Shane gets to move on. I love his strong commitment once his mind is made up. He is the kind of guy who goes the extra mile. I also love the side story of his son Conner.

Sweet Story

The Omega's Surprise Baby is the third book in The Oceanport Omegas series by Ann-Katrin Byrde. A famous musician with a messy past, a widower Alpha who wasnt looking for a new Omega ...and a big surprise for them both.

It is a sweet story with characters that are easy to fall in love with. A lot of sweetness, a touch of drama, a dash of humor, a hint of sexy and adorable children and babies makes this a must read.


Narrated by John Solo. Each character has their own unique voice that brings their personalities out and makes them shine. A wonderful job of bring the story to the next level of listening pleasure.
