I just cant!

I listened to the first book, and the narrator iiKane ,I thought was amazing. The story is interesting although none of the characters are fully developed and it skips around a bit, still wasn't bad. Good enough that I wanted to know what happened in the 2nd book.Im on chapter 3 of this book and I just can't. The narrator to me sucks. This story definitely had my interest, hence the reason I downloaded book 2. I can't tell whose speaking most of the time his accent comes through sometimes. For me the narrator completely takes away from the story itself. Unfortunate. Maybe I'll try to actually read the book instead of listen to it.

Vampire history

Well this book was okay. I really didn't care for the ending. But I do like series. I hope they change narrator's. This series would be great if read by Cary Hite. I did like the history part. I recommend the series.🙂

bad narrating

struggled to finish the book, I did not like the narrator. he did not bring life to the characters and rushed through the readings. I could not connect with the characters and he made the sex scenes so boring. if I see his name as the narrator on other books I will bypass them. very disappointing.

Good

I really liked this book and would recommend it. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines.

I can't wait to hear book 3.

A story of potential with flawed execution

The story isn't bad. It could use some editing to create a seamless flow. I thought a different narrator would create a better experience, but that was not the case. Both narrators lack the ability to express emotions without sounding cringy.

Change the narrator!

I can barely stand listening to the audiobook because the narrator is ruining the book for me.😩😩😩

Narrator should have stayed the same

I prefer the narrator from book 1. This one did not do book 2 justice. Also this was a cliffhanger. When will book 3 be released? I enjoyed the series!

Better

This was a great listen, and the narrator change made it better. Can’t wait for the next one.

Much better than book 1

You need book 1 to understand book 2, but this book was much better. Great story and ok reader. Where is book 3?

Terrible!

Well I listened to the first book which was bad but I (stupidly) thought the second might be an improvement. The narrator for book one was rather enthusiastic albeit bordering on screeching but did like to put in some effort. The second narrator was the opposite, mostly pretty monotonous but it was quite entertaining when he did try to act out parts 🤣🙉. I understand this book is in the fantasy genre but the author's description of a character's penis was just ridiculous and most definitely fantasy!! That was the moment I could not waste anymore of my time on these books. I think there's a third book as well but I'd rather chew glass than subject myself to more of this gibberish. Do Not Waste Your Time.
