Good, Narrator not to my taste.

Story isn’t as intricate as some of Fossum’s best, but it’s laced with her trademark character insight.

This isn’t my favorite of Fossum’s; however for Nordic noir fans, it’s still essential. I’m reading the Inspector Sejer series and pleased Audible updated their catalog.

Tedious, at best

Until this book, the Inspector Sejer series has been generally good. Good story, good dialogue, good characters, good translation, excellent narration. Though, one of the books borrows heeeaaavily from an Adler-Olsen plot...

At this point in the series, I am perplexed by three things. First, book 3 has been translated to English, so why is book 3 missing from the audio lineup? Next, why does Sejer refer to his beloved dog as "it" throughout the series? Lastly, why is this specific book actually dreadful?

Maybe should give it a listen and judge for yourself.
